I am making progress bit by bit with Yuval Noah Harari’s “Homo Deus.” I can’t say if I am more depressed by what I am learning about my human race; OR am I pleased that so much of what negative Noah’s description contains are thoughts that have been long past in my review mirror.
I am struck by how my fellow humans are constructing views of reality that support a self centered view of the cosmos. A naturally naive level of the development of humans and their consciousness seems to be something I should have compassion and forgiveness.
At least I must be patient and let Noah develop his over all idea. I am only nearing the end of Part 1 (an audio book with 10+ more hours to listen).
